WTB Earplugs

By far one of the most easiest missions that has been released, you will need to get 5 kills in the casual game mode with a Negev, playing on the map Dust 2. After the first round you will always be able to afford a Negev each round so you do not need to save money. Completing this mission will reward you with 1 star.

This can be completed in one game by going A long and shooting the long doors as they rush out or going to B site and shooting into the tunnel were the Terrorists rush. If you decide to play on the terrorists side it will be a lot more difficult to complete this mission but I would recommend you also go to the tunnels next to B and shoot the Counter-Terrorist who enter.

Noise Complaints

The second one this week that provides 1 star requires you to get 50 kills in the guardian game mode in Inferno. Since it is guardian both you and a friend are both able to use a M249 and get the total amount of kills needed together.

If you are having trouble with the bots pushing you all at once, use incendiary grenades or molotovs to hold them back as they won’t push through the fire.

Some of the missions for Week 13 of Shattered Web

Stop Asking About the Train…

Like previously weeks there is a competitive mission added in which you need to get 10 round wins on a certain map to get 2 stars. This week the map is Train. It would be a good idea to play with people who you know are good on Train and getting it over with in just 1 game, otherwise it may take 2 or 3 games to complete if your team is struggling to get those round wins.

Pack a Playlist

For 2 stars you can get 40 kills on arms race. Arms race is a game very similar to a mod in previous releases of Counter-Strike called Gun Game where players get a weapon after every two kills. In total there are 15 weapons which does not include the knife at the end to win the game.

The mission Pack a Playlist should take two full games to complete, even if you win one of them. The weapons are suppose to get a little worse over time however near the end you will see people with AWPs and Auto-Snipers. Teams always spawn in the same area, so use this to your advantage with what weapon you have.

A Loud Alternative

A lot of luck is involved in the mission A Loud Alternative as you are required to gather breach charges and find locked doors. The amount of time to complete this mission can’t be estimated as it is completely random.

If you decide to complete this mission you will get 3 stars, earning half of your maximum stars you can earn this week. A good place to drop at the beginning is next to the bunker. These bunkers have a lot of locked doors that require cash to open them. Once you find a breaching charge you will have plenty of doors to open as long as no-one else has opened them.

CS2 Starter Pack

The last mission for this week is great training for everyone, making players get 200 kills in total with an M4A4 or AK-47. These are the default primary weapons for each team and will award the player 3 stars when they complete the mission.

I was able to get around 40 kills per round as a Terrorist using the AK-47 but only 30 using the M4A4. As someone who primary uses the M4A1-S you may find playing on the opposite team and using the AK-47 is easier than trying to relearn the M4A4. The AK-47 also takes out enemies with one shot to the head making it easy to get to the 200 kills needed.

Conclusion

This week has seen an increase in the amount of time required to complete each mission but has three rewards making it well worth it. If you haven’t seen it yet check out the Top 12 Shattered Web Shattered Web skins released with this operation.
