CS2 Update – Operator Patches, Crosshair editor in CS2, New Buy Menu

An unexpected update has been released today offering some amazing quality of life features including a crosshair editor inside the game, an updated buy menu, as well as an update to operators allowing patches to be placed on them in Counter-Strike 2.

Operator Patches Update

The newest content is the CS2 Patch Pack 1 with each pack that containing patches that can be used on operators. Each operators has three different position the patch can be sown to, including one at the front, one at the back, and one on the side or front.

These patches have a rarity to them just like weapon skins however they have been renamed and currently there is only three different rarities including:

High Grade Patch (Blue)

Remarkable Patch (Purple)

Exotic Patch (Pink)

Crosshair Update

Say goodbye to the struggle of finding the perfect crosshair in Counter-Strike 2 with this updates interactive graphical user interface. With this update you can now edit your crosshair with ease in the settings menu, while you do it will display your crosshair updating in real time without having to use the developer console. It has all of the settings you need for each of the crosshair styles including the ability to change the color, thickness and gap.

Crosshairs Templates

Here are some templates that I have made for you to use for free. To use a crosshair click on the “Share or Import” button in the crosshair section of the settings. Here you can import codes from other players or create your very own.

Buy Menu

The buy menu has had a massive quality of life change. Now you can see what items your team mates have purchased in the bottom left hand corner. When you hover over each of the weapon categories it will also show you icons of the weapons with certain ones highlighted that you can afford to purchase. The layout has also changed giving you a better view of each weapons statistic and displaying your operator with the weapon you are hovering over above it.
