CSGO Pro’s all have their favorite type of gear that they prefer to use whether it be a mechanical keyboard, mouse, mouse pad, headset or monitor. Just think of those times you’ve had to use a keyboard somewhere else such as at school or your friend’s house, it feels completely different and can throw you off your game.
Mo from Tyloo and Fleps from Não Tem Como use the Zowie FK1+ (check price on Amazon) for their professional games while S1mple from NaVi prefers specifically the White Edition sponsored by BenQ. The mouse is specifically designed for the comfort of gamers by allowing for players to use both their left or right hand comfortably where most are just designed for right-handed users. This mouse is one of three different versions and designed to be extra large compared to the other two. It features 5 buttons with plug and play action, easy to switch between left and right handed, DPI adjustment switching between 400, 800, 1600 and 3200 and an adjustable USB Report rate between 125, 500 and 100 Hz. The USB Report rate changes the response time between clicks of the mouse making it more accurate to your movements.
BenQ Zowie XL2546 240Hz 24.5in e-Sports Monitor
You wouldn’t believe how many CSGO Pro players use the BenQ XL2546 24.5″ monitor (check price on Amazon). Just to list a few it includes gla1ve from Astralis, s1mple from Faze, FalleN from MIBR, all of North and all of OpTic Gaming as well.
It comes with an amazingly huge 240Hz refresh rate with VESA support. This ensures that the pro’s games are flawless and fast motion graphics on the screen are on point every pixel. It allows for a wide range of viewing angles to make sure it’s users are comfortable with different heights and angles so they can sit comfortably playing their games. It also comes with a button that allows you to save your monitor settings in different viewing modes and switch between them with ease called the S-Switch. Allowing you to get that perfect color for the task you are doing whether it be gaming, reading or watching a movie. Lastly, you cannot ignore those flaps on the side to shield your view of the outside world or if you’re at a competitive event, others looking at your screen.
SteelSeries Apex M500 Keyboard
The Apex comes with blue backlighting for its keys with 4 different brightness settings with mechanical keys. It was built to be lean and clean making it one of the more cheaper mechanical keyboards (check price on Amazon) on the market compared to its current competitors. The idea around it was for competitive and tournament play in video games but can be used just as your everyday keyboard. Something unique about it I found was the grooves under the keyboard for the cable management. The SteelSeries is used by GuardiaN, NiKo and karrigan from FaZe Clan, gade from OpTic Gaming, valde from North. There is an option to record macros however there are no dedicated buttons to record the macro or set them so you’ll need to rebind one of the current keys already in use.
HyperX Cloud II Headset
The headset brings comfort to a new level with a 7.1 surround sound via USB. If you remove the amp you can also use it with your phone or anything that uses a 3.5mm jack. Compared to some of the gear these pro’s use this would by far be one of the best for value in terms of cost to the quality you receive (check price on Amazon). In saying that though if you’re an audiophile you’ll defiantly need to look elsewhere for that sound you love but for everyone else, this one is still a luxury. It’s ear muffs are made out of memory foam that fit around your head with closed cup noise cancellation so stop any distractions in your environment. It comes with the option to choose from 3 different colors being Pink, Red and Gun Metal. This headset is used by Everyone from NaVi, JW from Fnatic, flusha from Fnatic, Xizt from Fnatic, ropz from mousesports and TACO from Team Liquid.
