One of my favorite ways to practice in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is to do 1v1’s with friends or Randoms in a community 1v1 server. It’s the perfect mix for having fun with your friends and getting in some valuable practice.
All of these 1v1 maps will help improve your mechanical gameplay and improve your 1v1 game sense. Which will help give you the edge you need to beat whoever you’re facing in that 1v1 clutch in game.
Practicing on these maps can be fantastic help to improve your game, though if you need a bit more help then why not check out the Get Out Of Silver Rank Video Course.
1. Aim_Redline by Togib
One of the most popular 1v1 maps and my personal favorite. It has M4A4 and AK-47 spawns on the ground where you spawn. It also has a single AWP spawn on top of the red crates towards the center of the map. It is my go-to map for 1v1’s because it has headshot angles, ramps, boxes to hide behind, and overall is a well-balanced map with many angles to peek from.
This map currently has 390,976 subscribers on the Steam Workshop.

Another map that is not well known but deserves to be known is the aim_aim_aim map. This is my favorite map to practice headshots in 1v1’s as the map has a lot of weird shapes around the map that gives you angles where the opponent can only see your head. One of the classics when it comes to 1v1 maps and is in almost every single 1v1 community server is Crashz’s dust 1v1 map. This map is created by the legendary workshop map creator crashz so you know it’s going to be good! The map has a current subscriber count of 313,580.

8. Am_Inferno_banana 1v1 Arena by Dolnma
This is another map that is very common in community 1v1 servers. It is a map that is designed on the old inferno where one spawns near the yellow car and the other one spawns near the ramp. This is a good map because it helps you learn what angles to clear first when you are peaking banana whether it’s from the counter terrorist side or terrorist side. This map has a current subscriber count of 21,495 on the Steam Workshop.
9. 1v1 Aim_Map by Sgt. Krex
A map you don’t see too often but definitely deserves to be on this list is the map aim_map by Sgt. Krex. It’s a map that has many obstacles and elevations. You can get cover from boxes, a tent in the middle, ramps on the side and a headshot box area towards the ends of the map. For this reason, it is my favorite map for the Desert Eagle in the 1v1 game mode. The map has a current subscriber count of 556,284 on the Steam Workshop.

11. Awp_India_Winter by Trojan.MSI
This a popular AWP map in 1v1 can be seen among the community servers as it has ramps in the middle for mid-range battles. It also has boxes on the sides you have boxes to use as cover while you battle it out long range. It is like the classic awp india map except it is covered in snow which I personally like as it makes the enemy stand out more so they can’t blend in with their surroundings. This map has 25,396 current subscribers on the Steam Workshop.
